Poor little underwater living things, why are you so tasty? Fish! at Borough Market.
If you want to buy nice products for a special diner, don’t forget to have a look at Borough Market (read my post about it here).
But after walking a few minutes in Borough Market you will start to feel more and more hungry. All these vegetables, pieces of meat, cheese, fishes, juices will make you instantly avid for some nice plate of food.
Borough Market is surrounded by lots of little restaurants and some street food stalls. Today I tried Fish!
Its name says it all. It is a seafood and fish restaurant. But don’t worry, if one of your friends can’t stand to eat anything who lives underwater, Fish also have some gills-free dishes.
The restaurant itself is very luminous, in the middle of the market, offering a massive terrace (if the weather allows it). You won’t need to book in advance as the place is huge, but may have to wait a few minutes before being seated during rush hours.
As expected, we all ordered fish related dishes. Fish! offers you the ability to choose in a list what fish you would like to eat, how you want it : steamed or grilled and with what sauce (nice simple selection).
We all where really happy with our choices. I had the squid and the mussels.
I would recommend Fish! to anybody craving for seafood while walking through Borough Market. But most of all I would recommend you to buy your seafood in the market and go home cook it your way. There is nothing better than a home-cooked meal!
