Work-out time!

Pilates
I used to hate sports. I am way to lazy and get quickly bored about doing the same thing every time. Going to the gym has always been the most difficult thing to do for me.
You usually have your own routine that you do all by yourself, every time the same one. So after a few weeks I found it very hard to get motivated to go back. I tried the best gyms with the best coaches but this was definitely not for me. And finally I found myself paying 12 month of membership and using only two months of it! What a waste of money!
But working out is something we should all do. It is essential for our mind and body and of course to stay in shape to wear that gorgeous dress you bought before Christmas that you can’t pull out anymore…
Everybody must find some sports that they enjoy doing.
As explained before, doing the same thing by myself every time at the gym is not for me at all. It gets so boring that I end up going to the gym only to use the sauna.
If you are a bit like me I may have found a solution: Pilates!
I am still impress on how long I have been doing it, 2 or 3 times a week for 5 months now. After looking back at my sport history, this is an amazing success! I have never been able to commit more than 1 one time a week for 2 months!
The magic trick is simple:
You only pay the classes you will attend. You can book them a few hours in advance. And once booked, as I payed for it (and it is not that cheap) I feel obligated to go. So this solves my motivation issues.
Once there, you are not alone, you are taking the class with other people, doing the same exercises at the same time, struggling all together coached by a nice looking guy/pal.
Exercises are not the same every time. You are still working out the same muscles but the routine changes every day. Each coach has his own way to do it and changes exercises order.
And it feels good! You see your body changing after only a month, you feel way better in your body and mind. You get energetic and relaxed at the same time. Pilates is a blessing! I actually miss it when I can’t go 2 times a week! Can you believe it?
I won’t lie to you, the first classes are really hard! You think you won’t be able to do it but keep working out and you’ll see it get easier and easier, till one point where you will be proudly doing exercises in advance mode!
The most important thing is to find a place close to your home/office and with Reformers. I am not a fanatic of mat pilates, I think it is more like yoga, only stretching…
You will need to try the Reformer Pilates, it will toned your body faster in a gentle way.
The first class is usually free, so don’t hesitate anymore and try it out!
I work out at BootCampPilates, they have 4 studios in London and I love their coaches!
If you need to lose a few pounds and toned your body, Pilates is made for you. You will work out avery muscle, strenght your core and feel way better!
Have a look at this video I found on YouTube which shows some classical movements.

Thank you! This is great information!
